As a city councilman, Rocky will continue to fight for the following:

• Fully funded Flood Protection Program bond referendum without a tax increase
• Opposing raising real estate taxes
• Reducing the car tax by 25%
• No Personal Property Tax for qualifying seniors and disabled.
• Opposing new bag tax for groceries

More Jobs and Better Salaries

With cost of living continuing to rise, Rocky know high-paying jobs in Virginia Beach are needed. He will continue to support economic development in our thriving market: Rocky will and has:

• Support attracting new and growing companies to Virginia Beach
• Voted to bring high-speed internet and broadband cables onshore to Virginia Beach
• Supports infrastructure improvements for traffic relief, flood mitigation and economic progress

Safe Neighborhoods

As an experienced law enforcement officer, Rocky knows we have keep our neighborhoods safe. Rocky has and will continue supporting our safe neighborhoods. He will:

• Help keep Virginia Beach again the safest city our size in America
• Fund new technologies to help law enforcement respond quickly
• Implement a new pay plan to attract and retain the best public safety professionals
• Hire 23 new full-time employees in EMS

Education

Raising a family in Virginia Beach, Rocky knows education is vital to a thriving community. Rocky will continue to support our students and teachers:

• Supporting more public safety resource officers for child protection
• Increasing the number of guidance counselors
• Fully funding school budgets with significant pay raises for teachers
